The Texas Chainsaw Horns are currently celebrating our 24th year together. Band members/subs, past and present, play in NBC’s Saturday Night Live Band, The Tower of Power and have toured with Sting, Maynard Ferguson, KC and the Sunshine Band, Here Come The Mummies and The National Symphony Orchestra. The main focus of the band is the tight 5 piece horn section and the creative, precise horn arrangements by former Chief Staff Arranger for the United States Army Band, Paul Murtha. The band has two Washington Area Music Award winning original recordings, Whiskey & Knives and Beam Me Up Elvis. Additionally, the band covers music by dozens of artists from Aerosmith and Amy Winehouse to Jaco Pastorius and Chicago.
