Irelands leading folk band The High Kings announce their brand-new album & North American tour ‘The Road Not Taken’
The High Kings, Finbarr Clancy, Darren Holden, Paul O’ Brien and Brian Dunphy have been performing to their legions of fans across the world for 15 years and have, in their time, released 7 studio albums and multiple live albums.
But 2023 sees them undertake their biggest and most challenging project to date!
The release of their 8th Studio album ‘The Road Not Taken’ as well as the 1st dates of their upcoming North American tour.
‘The Road Not Taken’ by The High Kings is an album of brand-new songs co-written and produced with some of Irelands most prolific and popular artists, including The Script, Kodaline, Picture This, Ryan Sheridan, JC Stewart and many more. It also features appearances from Steve Perry (Journey) , Sharon Corr ( The Corrs) amongst others.
‘The Road not Taken’ sees the very best in Irish music coming together for the 1st time ever, in a celebration of Irish Folk music!
Singles from the album include the brilliant Connemara Bay, the Haunting 1845 and the uplifting Chasing Rainbows as well as The Streets of Kinsale featuring the inimitable Steve Perry.
And with their brand-new album now available to pre purchase The High Kings are also proud to announce a 17th date tour of their most favourite US locations.
‘The Road Not Taken Tour’ will take in shows across the US, but for the 1st time The High Kings will tour Canada.
