The Quentin Walston Trio releases their latest album, “Retro Future” at The Tin Pan! An exciting piano, bass, and drums jazz group, their foot-tapping, energetic sets of original music and favorite jazz standards have been heralded as “stunning” and “impeccable”! Composer/pianist Quentin Walston’s memorable melodies, striking rhythms, and adventurous improvisations have been featured on NPR and PBS stations. The new album shows listeners Quentin’s dynamic jazz style, influenced by masters such as Thelonious Monk to more modern groups like The Bad Plus. Quentin is joined by the virtuosic Daniel Kelly II on drums and the highly-talented Jeff Cuny on bass, both of whom take each song to new heights.
