Gino Rosaria, born and raised in Curaçao, moved to the US in 2003 to complete his musical education under the likes of Daisy De Luca Jaffe. He graduated in 2009 with a Master’s degree in Classical Music Performance. Afterwards he continued private jazz studies with Pianist David Shelander, who was a student of Bill Evans.
In 2016, Gino released his first EP with his project called Groove Symphony, which won Best Funk/Fusion EP from the Akademia in Los Angeles in 2017.
Gino released his latest album Still Waters Run Deep the summer of 2019. That album features Marcus Anderson, Althea Rene, Elan Trotman, Adam Hawley, and more. His radio single “Night Groove” from that album made it onto Billboard and XM Radio within the first week and onto the top 30 on most of the contemporary jazz charts.
Gino travels the world teaching master classes, produces for several national artists, travels as a sideman/musical director for many national acts, and tours as a performing artist continuously writing and performing original music. Gino also regularly hosts his own ticketed shows in 200+ seat venues in his hometown which always sell out.
